The Word Alive bass player quits
Post-hardcore group The Word Alive have announced the departure of bass player Nick Urlacher. The band are also accepting auditions for a new permanent bass player.Urlacher released the following statement:"This is hard to start off. What are the right words to say goodbye to a family of friends, family and fans who have changed your life for the last 3 years of your life? A simple goodbye wouldn't suffice. Yet a long drawn out one would be too much. I've decided to leave The Word Alive my friends. This decision doesn't come easy, by any means of the word. The other 5 members have been my road family and home family for what feels like an eternity. We had the best of times and the worst of times, but we were together playing music and touring the country together. We're friends who will always be there for one another no matter the price. This period of my life has changed me in ways that I would have never imagined! I found myself out on that lonely road with them. I will miss all ...

No Turning Back signs to Think Fast! Records
Think Fast! Records is extremely proud to announce the signing of European's reigning hardcore kings, No Turning Back. The band just wrapped up recording their new full-length effort, "Take Control" which will see a release on American soil on April 19th. "I've known Martijn (vocals) for many years and have always admired his inability to slow down," comments Think Fast! co-owner Ryan O'Connor. "He doesn't seem to let anything or anyone keep his band from moving on and you have to respect that. We're very much looking forward to working with Martijn and the rest of the guys for the U.S. release of their new album."
