Details into the forthcoming album by promising Melbourne metallers Ne Obliviscaris have started to emerge, with the band asserting the studio release is due for completion this weekend.

Iron Mind will be releasing their debut LP ‘HELL SPLIT WIDE OPEN’ on Dead Souls Records in July. Tracked and mixed with Sam at Three Phase Studios in Melbourne and mastered by Jay Maas in Boston, Hell Split Wide Open features 11 new tracks from Melbourne's Iron Mind and is set to be the Australian hardcore release of 2011. For now check out Guilt – the cassette single drops today and features the hard hitting ‘Guilt’ from the upcoming LP and ‘The Iron Mind’ live from Generation 2010. Bring Me The Horizon drummer Matt Nicholls has broken his hand meaning he is unable to complete the band's current U.K. tour. Architects drummer Dan Searle will be filling in so that the band does not have to cancel any shows.

Brisbane’s own Milestones are amongst many of the uprising Punk/Hardcore bands in today’s music scene; yet seem to stand out more than others. Last year saw the release of debut EP "Growing Up Is Getting Old" since then the band hasn't slowed down playing with the likes of Such Gold, No Trigger, The Wonder Years and many more. I caught up with vocallist Josh just before the band head into pre-production for their forthcoming full length.

In a new interview with Altpress, Brokencyde vocalist Michael “Mikl” Shea has told his side of the story of the event that took place after the band's show at the Smiling Moose in Pittsburgh on Monday night, which left Punchline drummer Cory Muro bloodied and needing to receive three staples in his head, as well as Muro's friend Johnny Grushecky's nose being broken."We were on our bus outside the venue before [Muro and his friend Johnny Grushecky] started talking badly to our merch girl and began to slander us as individuals.
