Los Angeles based label, Dangerbird Records recently announced the signing of Boots Electric, the solo side-project of Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes.
Hughes, recording under the moniker of Boots Electric, is preparing to release his debut LP, with the musician currently holed up in an LA studio putting the finishing touches on the new material with noted producer, Tony Hoffer (The Kooks, Beck).
“The decision to work with Dangerbird beyond mere management was a relatively easy one. A decision that made itself,” Hughes said in an official press release.
Dangerbird CEO and Co-Founder Jeff Castelaz additionally commented on the recent signing.
“I’ve been lucky enough to manage Eagles of Death Metal for the past few years…In that time, I’ve witnessed the raw power and beauty that is embodied in Mr Jesse Hughes. Seeing him coax the Boots Electric genie out of the bottle has been incredible. I can’t wait for this album to be unleashed on the world," he said.
