Denver's Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire, have announced that they will release a new EP titled 'Visceral' via Prosthetic Records on July 19th. The EP has six tracks and will be available digitally and on 10 inch vinyl, limited to 500 pieces.

Sara Quin of Tegan And Sara has posted a lengthy blog post speaking out against Odd Future's front man Tyler The Creator for his offensive lyrics and twitter which is full of anti-gay, woman-hating slurs and insults. Quin posted: When will misogynistic and homophobic ranting and raving result in meaningful repercussions in the entertainment industry? When will they be treated with the same seriousness as racist and anti-Semitic offenses? While an artist who can barely get a fragment sentence out without using homophobic slurs is celebrated on the cover of every magazine, blog and newspaper, I’m disheartened that any self-respecting human being could stand in support with a message so vile. As journalists and colleagues defend, excuse and congratulate ‘Tyler, the Creator,’ I find it impossible not to comment.
