I Killed the Prom Queen to write new studio album
I Killed the Prom Queen guitarist Jona Weinhofen has given a very brief yet clear indication that the recently reformed band are writing a new studio album, with the release slated for 2012.Weinhofen made the short announcement on his Twitter page overnight, stating there are plans in place for new material."Everyone follow my other band @iktpqofficial. We're writing a new album for 2012 and will be doing some more touring then," Weinhofen wrote.While no further information is known, the work will mark the first with new singer Jamie Hope (ex-The Red Shore).Previously, Weinhofen discussed the band's reformation back in April.I Killed the Prom Queen recently wrapped up a successful run of shows as part of the Destroy Music Tour.

Wu-Tang Clan tour confirmed
Triple j confirmed this morning that members of the Wu-Tang Clan - Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, GZA, U-God, Masta Killa, DJ Allah Mathematics, DJ Street Life and the son of the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Young Dirty will be heading to Australia this August for a tour.
