DYS to release live album
Reformed Boston Hardcore band DYS have announced August 9th as the release date for their live release More than Fashion: Live from the Gallery East Reunion on Bridge Nine Records. Featuring tracks recorded at the Wonderland Ballroom in Revere, Massachusetts, More than Fashion highlights songs from the band's two prior studio recordings in a celebration of Boston's hardcore history and the band's place in it. DYS Founding member Dave Smalley went on to sing for Dag Nasty, All and Down by Law, among others, while co-founder Jonathan Anastas helped launch second-generation Boston hardcore band Slapshot. "I never thought we'd have the opportunity to share a stage with so many friends and brothers again, playing DYS songs for a room packed full of fans, old and new," said Smalley. Last Call set to release new EP
Las Vegas Pop Punk upcomers Last Call have announced that they will release a new EP on August 2nd through Mightier Than Sword records. The bands forthcoming EP titled 'Stay On The Outside' will be available to pre-order on July 12 through MTS. The EP will be available as a limited edition 1-sided 12″ (with a screen-printed b-side), CD, and digital download. The 1-sided 12" will be availble in the following colors: - 180 Gram Black [ltd. 100] - Solid Dark Grey [ltd. 200] - Solid Dark Green [ltd. 200] In addition there will be three different bundles: - CD/Vinyl/T-shirt - Vinyl/T-shirt - CD/T-shirt There will also be a cassette tape of the EP up for sale, limited to 25 copies!
