Maylene and the Sons of Disaster to release new album
Hard rock innovators Maylene and the Sons of Disaster will release their long awaited new album Maylene and the Sons of Disaster: IV on September 27 via Ferret Music. Produced by Brian Virtue (Jane's Addiction, Deftones, Audioslave), the LP shines a spotlight on the celebrated band's sleek songcraft, virtuosic prowess and depth of musical identity. The primal-scream therapy of underground star frontman Dallas Taylor takes on a much more multidimensional sense of atmosphere and texture on the record, finding the perfect balance of heavy-meets-euphoric while the band's strong, fluid rock features big riffs, shifting tempos and a spot-on sense of balance. The Amity Affliction announce "Fuck The Reaper" tour
The Amity Affliction return to the stage this October on the Fuck The Reaper Tour, with the UK’s Asking Alexandria and the Gold Coast’s Skyway on board for all dates. The tour will celebrate the release of the Deluxe Edition of The Amity Affliction’s hit 2010 release Youngbloods. The new edition includes a DVD feature edited by vocalist Joel Birch, as well as bonus tracks, film clips, liner notes and extended art within the package. It will see a release via UNFD on September 30.
