The Amity Affliction worldwide deal with Roadrunner
Roadrunner Records is pleased to announce the signing of The Amity Affliction, easily one of the most head-turning and exciting hard rock bands to come barreling out of Australia. The band has scorched a trail Down Under and is now poised to stake its claim in the U.S. Roadrunner will release Youngbloods digitally on Oct. 25 and the band will head back into the studio in early 2012 to record the follow up with Youngbloods producer Machine (Lamb of God, Cobra Starship, Suicide Silence.) The Amity Affliction's humble origins date back six years ago in a small town in Queensland, Australia. The Amity Affliction announce local supports
When The Amity Affliction put the call out to local bands to submit for the opener slots on their upcoming tour, hundreds lobbied to have their names added to the bill for the Fuck The Reaper show in their hometown. The response and quality of the entrants was nothing short of overwhelming. With the majority of the dates now sold out, the Deluxe Edition of Youngbloods on shelves next Friday 30 September and the tour drawing ever nearer, The Amity Affliction has revealed who they have picked as the cream of the crop to fill the much-coveted Fuck The Reaper opener slots. The Amity Affliction has selected Driven Fear to open the tour at the SOLD OUT All Ages Tivoli show in their hometown of Brisbane on Wednesday 5th October. Fires Of Waco will open the now SOLD OUT 18+ Tivoli show the following night. Counter Revolution venue changes
Less than a week from the beginning of the Counter Revolution festival and it is again suffering changes. The venues for both the Adelaide and Perth shows have been down graded to smaller venues. Adelaide has been downgraded from the showgrounds to the 700-capacity Fowlers Live. The main stage will be in the courtyard outside the venue, with a smaller stage inside Fowlers itself. All purchased tickets remain valid at the new venue In Perth the venue has gone from Challenge Stadium to Capitol & Amplifier. With this change the Perth date has now become 18 . All underage ticket holders will no longer be able to attend. You can obtain a refund from the point of purchase. Any tickets purchased by patrons over the age of 18 are still valid.
