Make Do And Mend premiere animated video
  New England post-hardcore quartet Make Do And Mend is excited to unveil the video for the single "Transparent Seas". The track is the second released single from the band's recent album End Measured Mile which was released last year through Paper + Plastick Records. The clip is a computer animated video created by motion graphics designer Matt Frodsham. You can watch the clip below. The band's vocalist/guitarist James Carroll explains about the clip; "We already did a live action video for the record, and it came time to do another. We decided we wanted to do something that not a lot of our contemporaries have done, so we took the leap and trusted a friend with the project." An alternate, acoustic version of the song will appear on the band's recently announced Part And Parcel EP which is set to be released November 22nd on Paper + Plastick. Thrice's Dustin Kensrue acoustic performance for Invisible Children
Bands spanning across a number of genres are joining together to raise funds for Invisible Children. Thrice is one of them, and their vocalist Dustin Kensrue is leading the way. You can watch his acoustic performance of "Come All You Weary" here. Kensrue explains his band's involvement with the organization. "Over the span of the last few years, we’ve been involved with an organization called Invisible Children. They have been working to end the longest running war in Africa. This particular war is being fought by children who have been abducted against their will and conscripted to fight alongside a rebel group called the Lord’s Resistance Army (or LRA). These kids are forced to commit terrible atrocities, so Invisible Children and many others across the world have taken it upon themselves to finally put an end to it.
