Everything Is Emo is meant to feel like a conversation with other fans of the genre, young and (ahem) old. There’s going to be plenty of interaction, which I hope will feel somewhat reminiscent of the message boards and forums I used to frequent as a teenage scene kid.

He has previously been through a bout of cancer a few years ago & miraculously smashed it - but it's made a comeback. We wish Loch all the love & hope he smashes this once again.

The world fell in love with Chester Bennington in Linkin Park - but Grey Daze was the first project to showcase his vocals. They returned after Chester's passing, releasing music featuring Chester, recorded long ago. They are releasing the second album of this material through Loma Vista Recordings on June 17, but along with it is coming a 4-part Documentary series titled 'The Creation of The Phoenix' - and you can watch Episode 1 now.

One of the most jaw-dropping live performances I have EVER seen was Nothing More's Soundwave performance in 2015. I genuinely could not take my eyes off them and my jaw off the germ-riddle ground of the RNA showgrounds in Brisbane. They've dropped their new single/video 'Tired of Winning' - and it's slice of sweet rock.

Chronicles II: Heaven by Void of Vision is out today - but they dropped one last little gift for us - a video for the track Altar featuring the brutal/beautiful voice of Hannah Greenwood of Creeper.

Germany's exciting heavy music label Arising Empire are expanding their reach into the rest of the globe and are today announcing their latest signing, US band OF VIRTUE!

Overall thoughts, I love the new elements they have introduced. I love that they have tried new things. LUST was absolutely perfect so I am glad this EP, HEAVEN wasn’t more of the same. Whatever and whenever we get a CHRONICLES III, you can be sure I am excited to hear it and sure to love it.
