The Dear Hunter announce new album release date
American indie rock band The Dear Hunter will release their new album, Migrant, on April 2 via Cave & Canary Goods. Formed by singer/songwriter Casey Crescenzo, The Dear Hunter was initially a side-project to his former band The Receiving End of Sirens. Now a full-time outfit, The Dear Hunter played both Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Bamboozle festivals last year, and have released four studio albums.Recorded at Vu Du Studios in Long Island, New York with Producer Mike Watts, Migrant is the follow-up to 2011’s critically acclaimed 2.5 hour, 9 EP, 36-track collection, The Color Spectrum."When I started writing this record, I made sure to limit myself to an instrument and my voice,” says Crescenzo of the new album. “I didn't want to jump into the current of production I always had before - predetermining the final path of each song from its inception.
