Nursery Crimes “Fun Hurts” 35th Anniversary Show

Thirty-five years after releasing their iconic album Fun Hurts, Melbourne melodic punk legends Nursery Crimes are back, storming the Marrickville Bowlo stage for a rare headline show and playing Fun Hurts in full!

Alongside the full expression of Fun Hurts, Nursery Crimes will blast out a host of favorites from their back catalogue and unveil a selection of brand-new tracks as they prepare to record in 2027—their first new release since Somethings Wrong with our Heroes in 1993!

The reception was electric and joyous when Nursery Crimes returned to the stage last year across VIC, SA and NSW, including a huge night at Marrickville Bowlo; their first Sydney headline show in almost 20 years.

This year, Nursery Crimes are back with a tour that spans Victoria, including a sold out show with Bodyjar, and Sydney and the Central Coast. The Marrickville Bowlo show will be Nursery Crimes' ONLY SYDNEY HEADLINE PERFORMANCE.

Support on the night will come from the mighty Geelong rockin’ stoner fuzz of GRYTT, featuring ex members of Bored and Warped, new Sydney power trio Blame, comprising ex-Massappeal members, and the dirty, bluesy, pub punk rock of Dirt Road Wave, featuring members of Massappeal and Suiciety.
