SYSTEM OF A DOWN UNDER celebrate the 20TH ANNIVERSARY of System Of A Down’s 2005 belter "MEZMERIZE" at AMPLIFIER BAR in PERTH on SATURDAY 14 JUNE, performing the album including "B.Y.OB.”, “Cigaro”, “Lost In Hollywood” and Revenga", plus a selection of SOAD favs!
Plus special guests 3 DOLLAR NOOKIE and CHILDREN OF THE KORN belting out the best of LIMP BIZKIT and KORN.
SYSTEM OF A DOWN has done it again… "Mezmerize" is a much more straightforward work than 2001's brilliant and diverse "Toxicity", with nearly every song smashing through the starting gate and going through any number of dizzying and often dazzling mood, tempo and rhythm changes.It only takes one listen, however, to realize that this may be the catchiest set of songs SYSTEM has yet recorded. "Revenga", the lunatic "Cigaro", "Violent Pornography" and "Old School Hollywood" (which sounds a little like a metal version of STYX's "Mr. Roboto") all have immediate and infectious choruses that stand out amidst the tumult and chaos of the verses.
