The Chvrch of MANKIND, call upon ye to solve this equation. Do so and prosper.

The "Triad of Estimation", where S = (O+4M+P)/VI

We start with our equation with O = "Optimist", a Thursday night in the basement of the historic Esplanade hotel with a youthful line up featuring:

Mankind (Tas) continue to bring their signature blend of gothic rock, post-punk, and hypnotic psychedelia to stages across Australia. The duo are known for their energetic live performances layered with rich, dynamic soundscapes featuring emotive vocals, melodic basslines, droning synths, and booming percussion.

Recent accomplishments for the duo of Dan (bass/vocals) and TJ (percussion) saw them support Aussie music icons Regurgitator and The Mavis's, a 9 date "HOME State Tour", the 4-date Melbourne "HOME Away From Home" Tour, headline Le Deux Fest, open for UK industrial legends Attrition, and bring their captivating energy to Junction Arts Fest, Unconformity Fest, Party in the Paddock and the Outta Control Tour —a selection of unmissable live experiences.

Mankind are ready to take their dark, atmospheric sound to new heights in 2026. If you’re a fan of bold, genre-blurring music with an edge, this is the show you won’t want to miss.

Funkytown Fish is a punk/indie rock foursome bringing the riot grrrl movement of the 90s into the 21st century. The band dives into politics, gender, sexuality and life as a fem-presenting person. The band consists of Elena E-S; the lead singer, the lead guitarist, Scar Mclachlan, Ani Luscombe on the bass guitar and Stella Klironomakis on the drums. Funkytown Fish - up and coming, brash and will not be ignored.

Fujideathcult sounds like lightning through dust clouds and haze, with their blend of noise and melody screaming all the things words cannot say.
