We got the chance to sit down with Ben from Miami Horror to get the lowdown on all things Horror-related.

"We’re ecstatic. I think we thought about it for maybe half a second before we decided to do it. They had a good day at the Big Day Out office that day."

"I have been able to step back and look at the art of songs again and in a new way."

"I’ve realised more and more that my theory that indie rock is nothing more than glorified disco, and that there should have been punk rock, or at least the aesthetic, the ideal, that should have kicked in a long time ago."

"We’re definitely drawn to the darker side of things, [but] with the right amount of light in there."

"Music has always been there but just kind of bubbling along."

"We’re always up with technology and we’re always on the next shit."

"The advice for the concert is that people have to know that they have got to focus on music."

"It’s a bit of a different sound for us, actually – it’s got more of a grunge edge to it than our other stuff and lyrically, it’s pulling on those same darker undertones that our songs have, but catering towards a grungier style on punk."

"I was confused when they left. I grew up with them and I was unsure of how it was going to go without them."

"When I looked for a band I looked for some place to call home. When I found this band I called it home, that’s it."

Even the music we’ve written for Hollow Bodies goes over way better than the older stuff when we play it live.
