2021's hottest heavy band, SPIRITBOX, have today announced the release of their first new music since their incendiary, chart-topping debut album, 'Eternal Blue' - and it's in the form of a 3-track single titled 'Rotoscope' + video!

I mean, everyone knows by now that Courtney LaPlante, singer/vocalist of Spiritbox was in iwrestledabearonce prior to being in Spiritbox. But what about the band BEFORE that? It was named after Transformers baddie, the devourer of worlds, UNICRON - and all three bands also feature Mike Stringer, her now husband!

This can only mean one thing, right? NEW SPIRITBOX INBOUND, SURELY. Not only that, they brought out 9 year old Harper who performed their single Holy Roller on America's Got Talent on stage with them in London! AMAZING!

Brisbane's StiffCut Records have been creating some amazing modified versions of a bunch of 7" heavy music records lately, and tomorrow morning, they are going up for silent auction. With uniquely modified records on offer from Spiritbox, AFI, Northlane, The Amity Affliction and more including pop artists like Halsey and Olivia Rodrigo, they are sure to be a massive hit, with all the money going to charities like Beyond Blue, Kids Help Line, Bats QLD, The Cancer Council and The Climate Council.

We will never NOT cover anything Spiritbox/Courtney LaPlante related. So, in that spirit (*giggle*) we recommend that you get this in your ears immediately. Illenium is an EDM artist who has previously collaborated with I Prevail and more, so there is pedigree and history here on heavy music/EDM projects. It features SOARING vocals from Courtney, then some screams then a FAT dubstep breakdown, so, you know, PLAY ON!

Can we all just agree to stop "OH YOU ARE WEARING A BAND SHIRT - SHOW YOUR CRED BY NAMING THREE SONGS" and any equivalent please? It's 2022 and it's real dumb. And frankly, if you are mansplaining to literally COURTNEY LAPLANTE, the literal QUEEN of metalcore: far out, buddy, I don't know what to tell you, but you messed up.
