The Bamboos

Fever In The Road is a sonic experience imbued with optimism and playfulness and a more than worthy addition to the band’s legacy.

And they've announced their local tour support act

“Tim Rogers is Tim Rogers, and he comes in and he owns it and he makes it himself. That’s what I look for in any vocalist."

“It’s weird for me to go back and try to forensically sort of analyse why that is, I mean that was a song that wasn’t even intended to be on the album at all, and was written at the eleventh hour.”

“That may be happening at this very festival. I can’t go into too much detail at this point, but I can say, ‘Yes, I certainly have [invited guest artists on stage] and that this is the festival’.

Music to make you dance and plenty of weird shit to keep you smiling.

"I’m not an idiot, when you put on the record you can hear a soul side, but I think there’s a different intention behind it, too,” Lance Ferguson of The Bamboos talks about escaping pigeonholes.

It’s less rooted in the traditional rhythm-driven tunes than The Bamboos’ earlier releases, but just as listenable and appealing.
