Future Classic drop a 2014 compilation, featuring this new jam from Touch Sensitive.. Future Classic have announced that they're putting out a compilation titled Teen Idols which is a snapshot of their releases in 2014. The full tracklist is listed below and will feature unreleased tracks from Hayden James, 123MRK, KOA and Touch Sensitive. The title track off this compilation has just been released and it's house gem made by none other than bass strummer Touch Sensitive. Considering the length of time between each release it's always exciting when Touch Sensitive releases a new track. Featuring some heavily chopped vocals against a backbed of bass before breaking down into a well-canned drum beat it's comforting to have him back. One of last year's best albums is about to give a whole lot more.. Much the way Flume seemed to dominate the end of 2012/beginning of 2013, the second half of last year steaming into 2014 felt like Sydney trio RÜFÜS' time when it came to Australian electronic music. Slappin' da bass ahead of CIRCO Festival.. How much can you accomplish in 12 months? I can think of one guy who could probably trump that. King of Bass and veteran in the Australian music scene, Michael Di Francesco – better known as Touch Sensitive – is one of the many amazing acts to be playing CIRCO Festival next weekend in Perth (got yo TICKET YET?). In between Pizza Guy, a US tour and multiple remixes and collaborations, Touch Sensitive has made a pretty reputable name for himself in the Australian and International Dance Music scene. We got to chat with him to discuss his recent success, being a perfectionist and what’s still to come.

A night for the vinyl edz out there, featuring Touch Sensitive, John Wall and Ariane.. Sunday 8 June (Queen's Birthday long weekend for you east-coasters) sees some serious vinyl fanatics going for a dig through their (EPIC) crates for an all-vinyl assault on the Cliff Dive Bar. Sexy bass basher Touch Sensitive will be joined by John Wall and lady about town Ariane for a no-CDs, no-laptops, no USBs affair from 9pm til 3am. How deep will they be digging? Well we have it on good authority that Touch Sensitive's record collection rolls some 5000+ deep, while Fuzzy director Wall has a ridiculously large 20,000 he'll be flipping through. Expect plenty of late night grooves, from italo to funk, disco, balearic and late '90s/early '00s house and all that lies between.
