New: Young Franco x UV Boi - Anywhere
Australian electronic music's new power couple bring some heat.. We're extolled enough plaudits upon Young Franco this year (start HERE and work your way back), and UV Boi is no slouch either, touring a killer single in Thank U (HERE) and teaming with Ryan Hemsworth and the most-rad Gods (HERE). Both dudes have a pretty unique production style, so it was always gonna be interesting to see what birthed from it, and the results are not disappointing. Anywhere feels like more a UV Boi joint just in tone, but also showcases what Young Franco can do when he's not laying down disco-house grooves. Really the whole release is clearly the melding of two bright young talents in the Australian electronic scene, and we're looking forward to more from these two lads working together. 10/10 Would Listen: ICSSC
10 selections from the hip hop, rap and electronic world from the bossman of ICSSC.. The I Can't Stand Still Collective AKA ICSSC has been throwing parties with some of the world's raddest underground electronic/hip hop/rap acts around Perth (and Australia) for years now, and head honcho Daniel Dalton (who also runs Pilerats Records) probably spends more time listening to music in one week than you do all year. So along with Cloudwaves, Bad Noose and ourselves, will each month provide a list of 10 tunes he's been vibing on the most of late: Rich Gang - I Know Consisting of two of the hottest rappers in the world right now (Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan) and flanked by Cash Money head honcho and father figure to more than just a couple of dudes (Birdman), not even Gucci’s news tape can attract the attention away from this long overdue collaboration. It’s total fire. We can take or leave Birdman, but together Thugga and Rich Homie push each other even further down the ‘weirdo rap’ hol

I OH YOU - Mixtape Premiere/Text Message Interview
The masterminds behind I OH YOU get texting and celebrate the next Hospital Mixtape premiere.. It's been a huge year for I OH YOU, but let's keep it to the recent times - more specifically the announcement just last night I OH YOU were crownded Best Independent Label at the Carlton Dry Independent Music Awards, along with Violent Soho's Hungry Ghost record grabbing a couple of gongs. It comes following some killer new signees joining the fun in 2014 in DMA's and Montgomery, LOLs touring with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs for Listen Out, a new merch STORE, and just general Australian domination. They're some of our favourite humans, and before the awards flowed in last night, we jumped on the old iPhone for a quick pow wow to talk all of these things, along with plenty of I OH YOU DJs discussions, to coincide with the premiere today of their next Take Me To The Hospital Mixtape (hear the first HERE). We love these dudes, and you guys clearly do too, so click play on the mixtape bel

UK production duo Gorgon City drop their anticipated debut album, Sirens.. Crystal Castles Are No More
Let's remember some of the crazy fucked up times we had with this rad duo.. Canadian singer Alice Glass has announced her departure from Toronto-based electronic outfit Crystal Castles (which consists of her and producer Ethan Kath), which means the band is over. It’s not all shit though, looks like Alice is embarking on a solo career. Glass wrote on Twitter: “I am leaving Crystal Castles. My art and my self-expression in any form has always been an attempt towards sincerity, honesty, and empathy for others. For a multitude of reasons both professional and personal I no longer feel that this is possible within [Crystal Castles].” They formed in 2004 which makes it a good 10-year run for this hardcore 8-bit duo, who were among a special group of early noughties acts (Does It Offend You, Yeah?, HEALTH, Hadouken, etc) to bring the nihilistic, manic tendencies of punk music to club music. Live, they always slayed; Alice’s shouting and restless energy, the seizure-inducing lights. We though
