More Troy Cassar-Daley Troy Cassar-Daley Profile

Finally some of Australia’s country artists are delivering albums of substance and depth.

Cassar-Daley delivers a well-crafted album that spruiks his roots and formidable talent. From the guitar hooks on Since You Left This Town to the rocking Two Weeks On, Two Weeks Off, he does what all the big country acts do, crossing from country to rock in a big way. The duet with Jimmy Barnes bursts with energy, matched with some potent lyrics. Teaming up with Paul Kelly on Freedom Ride is a clever move and he uses his songwriting to promote Indigenous civil rights.
