"The almost three hour show concluded with the Motown-inspired original Ready Or Not, during which Roger encouraged the audience to participate in some ‘New York’-styled dance moves and truly got the entire room (already on their feet from giving the group their second standing ovation) to mimic what was happening on stage."

More Naturally 7 More Naturally 7

All male a capella group Naturally Seven left their Perth audience completely astonished as they kicked off the opening show of their first ever Australian headline tour to a sold-out Perth Concert Hall. First though, Brisbane artist Tom Thum opened with his display of talents as a 'human sounds machine'. A fitting choice for the role of support act, his rendition of Tainted Love was truly incredible, his voice alone producing sounds that needed to be seen, or rather heard, to be believed. The talented Mr Thum closed his short set by taking the captivated audience 'around the world', introducing them to sounds that he had picked up and mastered along his travels.

Hailing from New York, Naturally Seven have perfected the craft that they call 'Vocal Play' over their many years as a group. Distinctive leader of the group, Roger took the time to explain to the audience how each member of the group contributes vocally. Their performances appeared to be seamless as drummer Warren (also Roger's brother), DJ Rod, vocalists Dwight, Garfield and Polo and bass player Hops, each individually and as a group moved the audience, both emotionally and physically, with their performances. The group put on a mind-blowing performance of original material such as the gospel inspired Jericho, and ballad Say You Love Me, as well as popular covers such as Broken Wings, and In The Air Tonight (which at one point a member of the audience screamed out the title of, requesting it be performed). The show was truly entertaining in every sense of the word. They also took the time to pay tribute to artists who had been a huge influences on their lives including Herbie Hancock, Simon & Garfunkel and last but not least Michael Jackson, performing an amazing rendition of Billie Jean. As the show appeared to be over and the crowd rose to their feet in applause and appreciation, the lights dimmed and the group came back out for an incredible encore performance, including a beautiful cover of Amazing Grace. The almost three hour show concluded with the Motown-inspired original Ready Or Not, during which Roger encouraged the audience to participate in some 'New York'-styled dance moves and truly got the entire room (already on their feet from giving the group their second standing ovation) to mimic what was happening on stage. Ending on an upbeat note, the show left the audience to marvel on the incredible talent that is Naturally Seven.
