Grammy-nominated Icelandic rockers KALEO are returning to Australia and New Zealand in early 2027, celebrating the tenth anniversary of their breakthrough second album, A/B, on the Way Down Under We Go tour.
The band launch into their world tour with a 28-date run across North America this month. Since their formation in Mosfellsbær – a suburb of Reykjavik in 2012 – band members JJ Julius Son, David Antonsson, Daniel Kristjansson, and Rubin Pollock have continuously built up a catalogue of tunes that highlight blues rock.
Their 2027 run of Australia and New Zealand begins at the Fremantle Prison on Wednesday, 10 February.
It continues at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Friday, 12 February, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Saturday, 13 February, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Monday, 15 February, and concludes in New Zealand, at Auckland’s The Civic on Thursday, 18 February.

Today’s tour announcement arrives following the release of KALEO’s A/B 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, a record that was initially home to the singles Way Down We Go, All The Pretty Girls and No Good.
The band’s most recent album, Mixed Emotions, was released last May. KALEO last visited Australia in February 2025, following previous visits that included performances at Bluesfest.
