Young Adelaide producer and vocalist Wolfjay has released his debut single 'For A Moment' with news of an EP just around the corner.
Adelaide electronic producer and vocalist WOLFJAY has released ‘For A Moment’, his debut single and the first preview of his works to come. Wolfjay, the independent brainchild of Jack Alexander is a promising musical project in its early stages. With only a handful of public demo’s online, ‘For A Moment’ stands as an extremely polished and heartfelt debut single from the young artist.
Inspired by PORTER ROBINSON, JAMIE XX, MURA MASA and KANYE WEST (but only when he’s feeling humble), ‘For A Moment’ manages to stand both delicately yet energetically.
Wolfjay’s exposed vocals are made distant through reverb whilst his electronic production creates an almost dream-pop soundscape, reminiscent of JAPANESE WALLPAPER and THE KITE STRING TANGLE. ‘For A Moment’ details a passing moment between two people who are unknown to each other, but at this moment, they have the chance to share space and connect, even only for a moment or two. It’s short, but it’s perfect.
