‘Let's Just F**king Throw Everything We Can At It’: Luca Brasi Reflect On A Decade Of ‘If This Is All We’re Going To Be’

Live Review: LISTEN: Enola Fall ‘Lions’ & ‘I Am An Aerial’

Enola Fall are easily one of Tassie’s most well-known bands and for once we’re willing to claim them as our own...

It has to be hard to be in a band from Tasmania. Not only in a practical sense – hey, planes aren’t cheap, touring must be a bitch - but also because people tend to think you’re weird. Talk to anyone outside of Tasmania and you’ll generally get the same response – jokes about two heads, cannibalism or occasionally someone not believing Tasmania is a real place. Enter ENOLA FALL.

Enola Fall are easily one of Tassie’s most well-known bands and for once we’re willing to claim them as our own, unlike almost every X Factor, Idol and Australia’s Got Talent contestant we’ve ever produced. They’ve been aired on Triple J and Triple J Unearthed, and have played alongside The Jezabels and Eskimo Joe to name a few.

To introduce you to the indie goodness that is Enola Fall, I present two songs: ‘I Am An Aerial’, the title track from their most recent release, and ‘Lions’, the first song off their soon-to-be-released, title-unknown EP. Both these songs share a lot of the same characteristics: a toe tapping beat, catchy, sing-along lyrics, prominent guitars and Joe Nuttall’s distinct vocals.
