Hands Like Houses![]()
Although not much of a departure from Ground Dweller (which is really what we'd like to hear from Hands Like Houses), Unimagine is an incredibly well-crafted second effort. It's hard to immediately notice, what with the overpowering wailing of frontman Trenton Woodley constantly in your ear, but once you pick apart each track (particularly the drawn-out paced A Tale Of Outer Suburbia), Hands Like Houses show a great deal of restraint in their songwriting and an attention to detail that is more than admirable. It isn't easy to warm to in its preliminary stages, but once you're taken in Unimagine proves to be an exceptional album.
