Album Review: Grass House - A Sun Full And Drowning

Cinematic, bluesy pop with dirty knees, Yorkshire four-piece Grass House have released a record full of the beautiful, deep croon of frontman Liam Palmer, sounding like a mix of Nick Cave and Mumford & Sons, with a generous dose of smoky electric guitar, rolling drums and tambourine - the album drips with the drama of a modern-day Western. And Now For The Wild is vintage storytelling and most lyrics are refreshingly abstract though occasionally the theatrics feel forced.
