Her pop side can write with Sally Seltmann, while the country element can still kick stones down a dirt road.

Some – okay, many – want to play up the retro dress-ups Ms De Rome can invest in her music. And while some strolling bass, twang and even some rockabilly boys occasionally shouting along behind, look closer and find there's just enough tongue in her own cheek to get by that to find a voice that can go from Patsy Cline troubled cowgirl to a simpler exposing of the heart on her sleeve in the title track. Her pop side can write with Sally Seltmann, while the country element can still kick stones down a dirt road.
