2026 is already shaping up to be a big one for music-lovers, with the beloved Wildlands Festival announcing the dates for its next big event.
Having helped audiences around the country launch into the new year with a massive line-up for its 2024/205 event, festival organisers have today revealed that Wildlands is set to return to both Brisbane and Perth this January.
The 2026 edition will kick off with a full-day affair at the Brisbane Showgrounds on Thursday, January 1st, before it heads west to take over Perth's Arena Joondalup on Saturday, January 3rd.
Currently, there's no word on when the all-important line-up will arrive, but a teaser video released by Wildlands last week featured Luude's fitting anthem Fun In The Sun soundtracking the visuals, giving a bit of an idea about what might be in the works.
Last year's event saw the likes of Ice Spice, FISHER, Tinashe, and more on the bill, while previous years have featured mega names such as Tyler, The Creator, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Peggy Gou, Central Cee, and many others.

There’s a few new details about the forthcoming edition of the event that organisers have also revealed alongside the new dates. Alongside reimagined stage designs, there's a brand new 'in the round' stage, giving punters a huge 360-degree experience, complete with a four-point sound system and raised dance floors.
Meanwhile, a special Casamigos House Of Friends VIP Pass is also on offer, giving express entry, VIP amenities, and access to exclusive viewing areas and bars.
Sadly, this year will see Adelaide audiences missing out, with organisers recently revealing that South Australia will be taking a break from the festival.
“This isn’t a call we wanted to make, especially after three strong years in South Australia, but the landscape has shifted, and the viability of delivering the event at the standard we hold ourselves to simply isn’t possible this season,” Wildlands Festival organisers explained earlier this month.
“We remain proud of what Wildlands has brought to Adelaide over the years,” they added. “It’s a city that’s too often overlooked when it comes to large-scale music events, and it meant a lot to us to deliver something ambitious and deserving of our fans. Thank you for showing up and backing it, we are forever grateful and we hope to return to Adelaide in the future.”
Pre-sale access for the 2026 edition of Wildlands Festival is available now, with the line-up expected to arrive soon.
