Leaving behind an austere verse soundscape for a sweeping, lush chorus, detours into delicacy and dalliances with dynamic shifts, the song is accompanied by a sequence of shots of varying degrees of intimacy and abstraction, with the unmistakable air of having been produced by European people. So, you know — there's nudity, but not enough to make anyone uncomfortable.
The song is taken from the band's most recent studio full-length, Silent Treatment, which dropped in February this year. Highasakite's Australian run of shows with the St Jerome's Laneway Tour gets under way with Brisbane's event on January 31. See our Festivals hub for more information.
