Coldplay have called upon their devoted fans to star in their new single, One World, from their forthcoming album Moon Music.
The popular British outfit wants your voice alongside Chris Martin’s and have explained how you can get your singing voice on a new song.
In an Instagram post, Coldplay wrote that they hope their fans are all okay in these “wild times” and revealed that their new album, Moon Music, is “nearly finished”. “If you'd like to be on it too, perhaps you could add your voice to a song called One World. (We would love that a lot.)”
And here’s how you can feature on One World: “All you have to do is record yourself singing ‘Ahhhhh’ for a few seconds at oneworld.coldplay.com.
“You can either copy the note on the site, or sing a G or C in any octave. Thankyou so much.
“Love, Chris, Guy, Will and Jonny”.

Chris Martin first teased the upcoming album in a January interview with City News, revealing that Moon Music is the sequel to 2021’s Music Of The Spheres.
“We’re finishing an album called Moon Music, which is the second Music Of The Spheres volume, but that won’t come out for a little bit,” Martin said. However, that was the last we heard about Moon Music.
Coldplay will return to Australia this month, performing two shows at Perth’s Optus Stadium on Saturday, 18 and Sunday, 19 November 2023, with support from Thelma Plum, Amy Shark, and Tash Sultana.
Last month, two local acts – Adrian Dzvuke, a local soulful singer who explores R&B, pop and Afrobeats, and Perth-based indie rock band King Ibis were added to the shows after winning the Rising Artist Competition to open for Coldplay at Optus Stadium.
Coldplay were last in Australia for 2016's A Head Full Of Dreams tour. Check out The Music’s reviews of their Sydney and Melbourne shows.
Coldplay’s first show at Optus Stadium on 18 November was met with extraordinary demand, leading to a second show the following night. Tickets are presently sold out. Until the Ticketmaster resale opens, you can try buying tickets through the safe buying and resale avenue, Tixel.
