Brisbane's Cub Sport have dropped an unsettling, ingeniously edited music video for their new single, Come On Mess Me Up, ahead of a massive three months of global touring.

Directed by Joe Agius (The Creases), the single-shot video sees lead singer Tim Nelson crooning to the camera while smearing layer upon layer of green-screened paint on his mug, creating a deeply creepy effect of multiple faces contending with each other to occupy the same space. The compelling clip showcases a rare air of vulnerability in a stark departure from the indie-pop band's more playful previous work.

The year's not even half done and the four-piece have already released their album This Is Our Vice, scored plays from BBC1 tastemaker Huw Stevens and toured nationally with Saskwatch. Currently in the UK for a string of shows (including London Calling and Camden Rocks Festival), they will soon head stateside for a US headline tour.

Once back home, they will play Brisbane's The Foundry on 19 August, Adelaide's Jive Bar on 20 August, Melbourne's Northcote Social Club on 26 August and Sydney's Newtown Social Club on 27 August.
