A documentary film about Travis Barker is coming this winter, Deadline reports.

The Blink-182 drummer, songwriter, and music producer, plus founder of the clothing company Famous Stars and Straps, and the record labels LaSalle Records in 2004 and DTA Records in 2019, is the subject of Hulu’s upcoming documentary feature film, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear.

In Australia, Hulu programs are currently shown via Disney+.

Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear is directed by Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer, produced by Matthew Weaver and Nick Stern (Media Weaver Entertainment), and executive produced by Lawrence Vavra and John Janick.

Deadline notes that the documentary will follow Barker’s journey “as he embarks on a raw and redemptive journey,” which began after he survived a devastating plane crash, where he nearly died, and didn’t fly for years.

The documentary is also set to dig deeper than Barker’s fame as the drummer of Blink-182. It will reportedly detail a “complex man” who deals with pain, grief, and the “thin line between survival and surrender.”

Plus, Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear will give voice to the drummer’s collaborators, as well as icons of punk rock, and his loved ones.

In 2023, Barker and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, starred in the Hulu documentary special, Til Death Do Us Part: Kourtney & Travis. The documentary followed the pair’s trip to their wedding in Portofino, Italy, and featured Kardashian’s family.

In early 2024, Blink-182 returned to Australia for a 15-date tour with special guests Rise Against.

Reviewing the band’s performance at Perth’s RAC Arena, The Music’s Michael Hollick wrote, “Blink-182’s performance was a time capsule, providing both longtime and newer fans a chance to relive the days when baggy jeans, chains, and dyed spikes were the epitome of cool. The band may have grown older, but their music remains forever young.”

Following the band’s Australian tour, Barker auctioned items from the tour – including his Qantas boarding pass from Sydney to Perth – and showed support for Aussie hardcore outfit SPEED.
