Iggy Azalea's 'The New Classic' stays inside top 15
As predicted during the midweek charts wrap, Aussie acts Thundamentals and In Hearts Wake have made not just top-ten debuts on the ARIA Albums chart, but have both emerged in the top five, with the former's So We Can Remember stepping out at #3 and the latter's Earthwalker two spots down at #5.
It's a solid opening for the pair of local groups, who enter a field that has been dominated recently by the Frozen soundtrack - still unmoved from its #1 spot - while Canadian crooner Michael Buble came in at #2 with To Be Loved, which rode the Mother's Day boost up three spots from last week, and Lily Allen fulfilled expectations by rounding out the upper end at #4 with Sheezus.
New Zealand trio Sol3 Mio had an exceptionally strong week, jumping 14 places from #20 to #6, while, somewhat astoundingly, Sir Cliff Richard makes his first return to the ARIA top ten since 1995 with The Fabulous Rock'N'Roll Songbook hitting #8 this week. Chet Faker took a slight dip from being the previous owner of Lily Allen's new spot to hang in there, with Built On Glass coming in at #10.
Despite a strong international performance of late for NSW-born rap darling Iggy Azalea - and a six-spot rise this week to #1 on the ARIA streaming charts for her track Fancy, featuring Charli XCX - her album The New Classic has dropped off from its pedestal, sliding 12 places to #14, with fellow Aussie Mark Vincent's Best So Far hot on its heels at #15, up two places from last week.

Aussie vets The Angels also made good on midweek promises, with 40 Years Of Rock, Vol. 1 making its ARIA debut at #21, while Brisbane-region partyboys DZ Deathrays weren't far behind - their second LP, Black Rat, which follows 2012's Bloodstreams, managed #23.
Meanwhile, on the ARIA digital charts, a nice nod for dance group-cum-pop-hop outfit Justice Crew as their current single Que Sera stepped out in the top spot on debut. Brisbane's Sheppard aren't far behind, having dropped from #2 last week with earworm pop hit Geronimo resting at #4 this week, while Sia's Chandelier also fell slightly, down three places to scrape into the top ten at #9.
The ubiquitous Pharrell Williams enjoys a double placing in the Top 40, with his infectious smash Happy hanging hanging around for yet another week, at #16, and the polarising Marilyn Monroe jumping ten spots to fall inside the top 30 at #28.
Other debuts on that ladder include Coldplay's A Sky Full Of Stars at #11, DJ Snake featuring Lil Jon'sTurn Down For What snapping up #20, Demi Lovato's Let It Go at #36, American Dream by MKTO at #37 and Michael Jackson's Love Never Felt So Good making its entrance at #38.
