The Angels recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with two massive national tours, but today, they’ve announced a new batch of dates in support of their latest album, last year’s Ninety Nine.
Dubbing the run an “Exclusive Album Showcase,” fans will get to see The Angels perform their latest material in its entirety. After playing Ninety Nine from start to finish, the Aussie rockers will play an encore of their classic hits.
The Exclusive Album Showcase Tour will begin in The Angels’ birthplace of Adelaide, with the band playing at the Lion Arts Centre on Friday, 4 April. The band will then head to Melbourne’s Memo Music Hall on Saturday, 5 April, Chatswood’s The Lounge on Friday, 11 April, and conclude at Brisbane’s Old Museum Concert Hall on Saturday, 12 April.
Fans can purchase tickets to the shows now via The Angels’ website.
In addition to seeing the band live, each show will open with a set from the iconic Brewster Brothers, warming up the crowd ahead of the main event.
John Brewster said of the upcoming tour, “We were blown away by the response we got when we played songs from the new record on the 50 Not Out tours. We really believe in this album and can’t wait to play every song live.”

Ninety Nine, released last June, marked The Angels’ first new album in ten years. Upon announcing it a month earlier, John Brewster said of the album, “I haven’t been this excited about anything we’ve done in the studio for many, many years.
“I’m proud of everything this band has done, but we have what I call ‘benchmark albums’, particularly Face To Face, No Exit and Dark Room. This, to me, is a benchmark album.”
