The Angels ProfileThe Angels have expanded their 50th-anniversary celebrations, announcing a new 50 Not Out tour with special guests Mi-Sex.
The tour promises to celebrate five decades of classic Australian rock and roll hits, including Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again?, Take A Long Line, No Secrets, Shadow Boxer, Marseille, Mr Damage, We Gotta Get Out Of This Place and many more.
Each show will occur this winter on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. In a social media post, the band wrote that the tour will be “A celebration of everyone who has played with The Angels and everyone who’s enjoyed an Angels show.”
Fans can watch The Angels throughout cities and towns in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland through June, July, and August.
Tickets to the 50 Not Out tour are on sale now via the band’s website.
Last September, The Angels kicked off their 50 Years In The Making national tour, which extended all the way to the 10th of February.
“The 50th anniversary is a very special time for The Angels,” guitarist John Brewster said in a press release. “And it means a lot that the fans already know [new vocalist, former drummer] Nick [Norton]. Our relationship with the audience means everything to us, and we’ll never take that for granted.”
Norton added, “We’ve already got a very busy six months ahead of us, which is brilliant for the new line-up.”
The current Angels line-up includes two sets of Brewster Brothers – the OGs (John and Rick) on guitar and John Brewster’s sons, Sam (bass) and Tom (drums), as well as Norton on vocals.
