Continuing to lead by example with a positive mindset and dedication to recovery, The Ghost Inside's Andrew Tkaczyk has offered another update for his ongoing rehabilitation.
Having returned to the kit last month, and now fitted with a prosthetic leg, Tkaczyk is close to walking in a normal capacity.
"Today marks 5 months since the accident. The last few weeks I've been working on getting back to walking with a prosthesis. Today was the first time walking with a cane and no parallel bars for support. It feels great to have gotten to this point in my recovery. I threw in a little [Comeback Kid] because that's never a bad idea. Now it's time to get ready for the [Detroit Red Wings] game 4 tonight in Hockeytown USA. Let's go boys," the musician commented via Instagram.
You can still contribute to a GoFundMe campaign set-up to help the band members with associated medical costs. Equally, the group’s label, Epitaph, is also still donating all profits from the worldwide sales of The Ghost Inside‘s catalogue direct to the band “indefinitely.”
Similarly, for Melbourne fans of the band, BANG is hosting a charity event for The Ghost Inside on April 30.
You can follow Tkaczyk's progress via the musician's Instagram account.
