Musician taken in an ambulance.
Recently recruited Slipknot bassist Alessandro Venturella was rushed to hospital during the band's performance in the US over the weekend.
As NME reports, the 37-year-old musician who joined the popular metal band late last year, was performing with the group in Hartford, Connecticut, before exiting the stage mid-set, where he was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Initially unsure of the cause of emergency, frontman Corey Taylor told the crowd: "I'm going to let you know what's going on right now."
"I'm sorry to say that something happened with our bass player Alex. We're not sure what happened. He's been put into an ambulance and he's going to the hospital right now as we speak."

"Make some noise for him and send him some fucking love."
However just hours ago, Slipknot gave their fans an update on Venturella's condition in a Facebook post and revealed that 'V Man' had suffered from "severe hydration".
"Alex collapsed mid-set after feeling unwell and as a precautionary measure was taken to hospital where he was found to be suffering from severe dehydration," the post read.
"After recuperating overnight, he has now been discharged from hospital and is on his way back to his Slipknot family."
