The two independent companies team up
2013 has already been a big year for Shock Records and the label have continued to move forward with new developments, signing a deal with London-based music management and label services company Kartel.
The deal will see the two work together on the releases of artists, a few which they have already confirmed over the coming weeks. New albums from The Drowning Men, To Kill A King, Teitur and Flithy Boy will all be released within the next couple of months through the partnership.
Kartel were first established in 2003 as an artist management company and own a number of independent labels.
Of the merger, Charles Kirby-Welch, Founder of Kartel said the Shock were the perfect match for their organisation.

Shock recently completed their 2013 staff restructure which has seen mass changes within the company this year.
