After reforming at the 2024 edition of Coachella, it’s fair to say that fans likely expected that would be it for No Doubt. Two massive festival performances, and that’s it.

But that wasn’t to be: this week, the ska-rockers kicked off a lengthy residency at the Las Vegas venue, Sphere.

The residency marks No Doubt’s first extended run of headline shows in 14 years. They kicked things off on Wednesday, 6 May, with the residency continuing throughout the rest of the month and into early June, wrapping on Saturday, 13 June. With 16 shows on the horizon, we don’t know how often the band will change their setlist.

For their first show of the residency, No Doubt played a handful of songs for the first time in many years. There was Tragic Kingdom, performed for the first time since 2009, The Climb (first time since 1997), Running (first time since 2012), and Trapped In A Box (first time since 2002).

Across the 21-song set, the band delivered an abundance of hits, including Spiderwebs, Hey Baby, Bathwater, Ex-Girlfriend, Hella Good, It’s My Life (their Talk Talk cover), Don’t Speak, and Just A Girl. You can check out the setlist below.

“The opportunity to create a show at Sphere excites me in a new way,” singer Gwen Stefani remarked upon their Sphere residency getting announced last year.

She continued, “The venue is unique and modern, and it opens up a whole new visual palette for us to be creative. Doing it with No Doubt feels like going back in time to relive our history, while also creating something new in a way we never could have imagined.”

Bassist Tony Kanal added, “I can’t wait to get on stage again with my bandmates. There is a beautiful energy that happens when we play together, an electricity I have felt through all of our years. To be able to leave it all on the table each night and take our fans on the insane journey that is Sphere is beyond our wildest dreams.”

Before their Coachella reunion, No Doubt hadn’t performed together in nine years. The band’s most recent album, Push And Shove, was released in 2012.
