Skate punk is not dead
Energetic Wollongong-bred skate-punks Raised As Wolves will hit the road later this month for four shows to promote their new EP, Phonebook For Hokkaido, to be released in June.
The hard-working trio, who effortlessly meld melodic '90s pop-punk influences with the intensity of modern emo and hardcore, have dropped the first single Sometimes, which is available to stream now.
The tour will kick off at Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on Saturday, 28 May, in support of Adelaide heavy rockers Japam, before the lads head to Transit Bar in Canberra on as special guests of Rick Dangerous & The Silkie Bantams on Saturday, 12 June. The tour then heads to the band's hometown of Wollongong at Rad Bar on Friday, 17 June, supporting Wasters and then wraps up at Melbourne's Bar 303 on Friday, 24 June. More shows will be announced following the EP's release.
Having shared stages with the likes of Frenzal Rhomb, Clowns, The Bennies, Nerdlinger, Columbus, The Stiffys and Born Lion, Raised As Wolves are ready to unleash their raw live sound again.
