Sydney
Triple J have dropped 0.4% on the last ratings period prior to the hiatus. This gives the youth broadcaster a 5.1% market share in Sydney. Smoothfm 95.3 has found a 0.9% increase for a 9.9% market share, making them the most listened to FM station in the city. The station is followed up WSFM and KIIS at 8.4% (down 0.5%) and 8.2% (down 0.3%) respectively.
In the breakfast show market, it's KIIS FM in the lead with Kyle & Jackie O's show holding steady with 10.2%. Jonesy & Amanda at WSFM have dropped 0.5% for an 8.6% market share. Over at triple j, Sally & Erica's national breakfast program claims a 4.3% market share, down 0.4% on last ratings.

Melbourne
It's another win for Melbourne's GOLD FM which secures its place at #1 with the most popular FM station at 8.7% (down 2%) and the most popular breakfast show, with Christian O'Connell's program bringing in a 7.2% market share (down 2.2%).
For triple j, it's a sizeable drop of 3.4% (from 7.2% last ratings) for a 3.8% market share. This is reflected across all program slots, particularly breakfast with a loss of 4.5% (down from 7% to 2.5% market share).
Brisbane
NOVA takes out the title of most popular FM station in Brisbane, seeing a 1.1% growth for 11.5% market share. 97.3FM and Triple M now share second place with 10.5% each, thanks to a steady ratings period for the former and a 0.6% increase for Triple M. Triple J sees a 1.2% decrease, for a 6.9% market share.
In the breakfast market, it's NOVA's show with Ash, Kip & Luttsy well out in the lead at 12.2%, up 2% from last ratings. Next is B105 with 11% (down 0.8%) amd Triple M on 10.4% (up 0.9%). Triple J sees a loss of 1% for a 6% market share.
Adelaide
It's MIX 102.3FM well ahead with 13% market share (up 1.1%) in Adelaide, with FIVEaa following with 12.2% (up 0.9%) and NOVA next in line with 10.4%, up 0.2%.
This ratings period also sees former triple j hosts Ben & Liam secure their first-ever #1 spot in the breakfast programs with their show on NOVA picking up an 11% market share (up 1.3%). They're followed by MIX with 10.5%, down 0.1% on last ratings.
Perth
The race for the top spot in Perth was a tight one with three FM stations proving contenders. It was NOVA though that came out winners, with a 12.9% market share (up 0.9%), with MIX following with 12.7% (up 0.1%) and 96FM next with 12.6% (up 0.6%). Triple J sees a 1.7% drop for a 8.3% market share.
NOVA's success continues over in the breakfast slot, with a 14.1% share (up 0.6%), while MIX follows with 12.4% (up 1.8%). Triple J's breakfast show sees a 2.7% drop, giving it a 7.3% market share. This trend continues across the board for the station, with all programs dropping anywhere between 0.3% and 4%.
