Surviving Beatles members reunite.
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have teamed up to record new music together for the first time in seven years.
As noted by The Guardian, the two surviving members of The Beatles have worked on a track to feature on Starr's forthcoming solo LP.
The iconic drummer shared the news on Twitter by posting a picture of McCartney and himself with the caption, "Thanks for coming over man and playing great bass. I love you man peace and love".

The collaboration is their first since 2010 when McCartney played bass on Starr's Peace Dream, as well as lent his vocals on Walk With You.

Based on pictures that Starr also shared from the studio on his Twitter account, other big names we can assume will also feature on the upcoming record include Eagles guitarist, Joe Walsh and co-founding member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Benmont Tench.
