Paul Kelly & Charlie Owen Lead 2017 Blue Mountains Music Festival Line-up

The annual shindig returns for its 22nd go-around in March

The renowned annual Blue Mountains Music Festival is all set to serenade the town of Katoomba next year with its newly announced line-up, led by in-demand duo Paul Kelly & Charlie Owen.

Kelly and Owen will add to their considerable performance record these over the past few months with the freshly scheduled appearance, which is set to draw from the pair's debut joint album, Death's Dateless Night, featuring covers of songs by artists such as The Beatles, Leonard Cohen, Townes Van Zandt, Cole Porter and more.

Descending on the idyllic town alongside the venerated troubadours in March will be venerated outfit The Waifs (who make their return to the festival as part of their 25-year tour celebrations), Scottish singer-songwriter Eddi Reader, US two-piece Folk Uke, lauded ensemble Bustamento, stalwart locals Dog Trumpet and many more.

The broader international contingent boasts incoming artists from a diversity of other countries around the world, including Ireland, Canada, the Netherlands, India, Japan, Ethiopia, Iceland and Sweden.

The 22nd Blue Mountains Music Festival will run from 17-19 March 2017. Early-bird weekend tickets are available now, with general passes going on sale from 15 December; day tickets are set to be available from 1 February.
