NSW Further Eases Venue Restrictions

More of us can enjoy live music together again!

COVID restrictions across NSW have eased again, with venues and live music set to benefit from today’s announcement.

From next Monday, December 7, outdoor venues, including stadiums and theatres, will be able to host events at 100% seated capacity, capped at 5,000 people for events that are fenced, ticketed and seated.

Meanwhile, indoor venues can operate at 75% seated capacity, with up to 50 people allowed on dance floors and the number of performers capped at 50.

While some venues will shift to one person per 2sqm, nightclubs will still need to observe the 4sqm rule.
