Music SA have announced the details of the South Aus Music T-Shirt Market as part of this year’s Good Music Month.

Good Music Month - the annual state-wide open-access festival which lasts for the entirety of November - plays a crucial role in expanding the profile of live music in South Australia by gifting artists, venues, and industry professionals a worthy platform to exhibit their talents. The month-long festival encompasses an eclectic range of live music experiences, all in the name of KEEPING MUSIC ALIVE.

The South Aus Music T-Shirt Market is occurring on November 28th in line with Aus Music T-Shirt Day - a day to celebrate Australian music and raise urgently-needed funds for music workers.

The event, which will be free to attend, is taking place at beloved East End pub The Austral from 3 pm to 8 pm. Not only does the event promise an eclectic array of unique local merchandise, but $5 pints of Cooper will also be available throughout.

10% of all proceeds will be donated to Support Act, the music industry charity that provides crisis relief to musicians, managers, crew, and music workers of all sorts who are unable to work due to ill health, injury, a mental health problem, or other crises. Every donation helps them this essential organisation to provide critical support to those across the musical spectrum in need.

The current assortment of bands and collectives tipped to be selling their merch next Thursday is already stacked. So far, stalls will be headed by Twine, Oscar the Wild, The Genevieves, Sunsick Daisy, Shadow Monarchy, Brad Chicken & The Bootstraps, Inner Tribe Records, Tracey Sutcliffe, Vermantics, Coldwave, Normal Behaviour, Nocturnal Animals, Street Legal, King of Spain, and Kitchen Witch.

Creatives are encouraged to involve themselves in the event. A statement posted to Music SA’s official Instagram page reads, “If you have new merch, leftover merch, merch sample designs, or are a local clothing/fashion creative, sell it here! It's free to take part in the market, all we ask is that 10% of all proceeds are donated to  Support Act.” All emails are to be directed to thomas@musicsa.com.au

The South Aus Music T-Shirt Market on November 28th is sure to provide support for an important cause, and to satiate the local music-enjoyer’s desperate need for a closet full of hip band T-shirts.
