According to TV Tonight, 815,000 people watched the Nine broadcast in Australia's metro cities and was the fourth most-watched show on Saturday overall.

Speaking to The Music ahead of the concert, Gudinski said Music From The Home Front was "one of the most special things that I’ve worked on in my life".

“This whole thing came about as a brainchild of mine,” Gudinksi told The Music.
