Good Things is just over a month away. Here are the tracks to get your head around before the shows.

Good Things Festival is back for its second year and its certainly shaping up to be a huge one, with the festival returning to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this December.

There's a stack of talent joining this year's line-up - including the likes of Parkway Drive, Violent Soho, Bad Religion and more - and with that comes a heap of new music. Here's just some of the new tracks you need to check out before heading along.

A Day To Remember

US group A Day To Remember are kind enough to be dropping their latest album, You're Welcome, on 15 November, which means you've got a few weeks to play it on repeat and learn all the words before Good Things kicks off. The album's first single, Degenerates, dropped back in August so you can check it out now and get a head start.

Dance Gavin Dance

Californian five-piece Dance Gavin Dance released their eighth studio album, Artificial Selection, in June last year but they're certainly not resting on that, with the group already having released their new standalone single, Blood Wolf, earlier this month. We think it'll have crowds moving like a guy jumping around firecrackers when they play it live (see the four minute mark in the video below).

Ice Nine Kills

It's another horror movie-inspired LP for Ice Nine Kills, who dropped their fifth studio work The Silver Scream: Final Cut this time last year. While the album is a year old, the Boston metalcore group are celebrating this Halloween with a re-release and dropping a video for Your Number's Up.

Man With A Mission

Man With A Mission are well prepared for their first-ever Australian shows, having dropped their new EP last week. Check out new single 86 Missed Calls - come for the music, stay for the wolf heads.

Simple Creatures

We love Simple Creatures - considering that the band features blink-182's Mark Hoppus and All Time's Alex Gaskarth, how could we not? The two release their new EP Everything Opposite on 11 October so you can start streaming now and don't stop have to stop until you walk through the gates at Good Things.

Simple Plan

So here's a thing - it's been 17 years since Simple Plan releasing their breakthrough hit, Perfect. Excuse us while we go cry for our youth in the corner. The Canadian pop punk group are still very much making music though, with their new single Where I Belong with We The Kings dropping earlier this month.

Skegss

Byron Bay trio Skegss have had a massive year following the release of their debut album, My Own Mess. As well as signing with US label Loma Vista Recordings, the group have just shared their new single Save It For The Weekend (complete with its Gogglebox-style video) earlier this month.

Poppy

I Disagree is the latest offering from Moriah Rose Pereira aka Poppy. It's just a taste of her forthcoming third of the same name, which is due out in early January. We reckon that Good Things crowds are in for a treat though and might get a sneak peek ahead of its release.

Voyager

Voyager keep themselves very busy, with the Perth group just about to drop their seventh studio album Colours In The Sun this Friday, 1 November. They've already shared a few tracks ahead of its release, including Entropy - their collab with Leprous' Einar Solberg.

Good Things festival kicks off in Melbourne on 6 December, followed by Sydney and Brisbane. Tickets are on sale now, head to theGuide for all the info.
