"It was a no brainer."
Aussie surf punkers Skegss have today been announced as the latest signing on the Loma Vista Recordings roster.
The trio join the US label which already boasts massive acts such as Marilyn Manson, St Vincent and Denzel Curry.
"After falling in love with their music from afar, I caught their headlining sets at Laneway this past February. The guys just seem like people I would hang out with and surf with back in California," Loma Vista label head, Ryan Whalley, said.
"So we hit it off right away. But in addition to the hang and the top-level team around them, it was their talent in record making and how they ignite thousands of fans at their shows that convinced us Skegss were a band we needed to work with around the world. It was a no brainer."
The signing will see Skegss re-release their 2018 debut album, My Own Mess, internationally on 23 August. All future music will be distributed in Australia via Caroline Australia.
