Beloved Naarm/Melbourne alt rockers Kisschasy are hitting the road once again this year, touring to celebrate the 18th anniversary of their second album, Hymns For The Nonbeliever.
Originally released in July 2007, Hymns For The Nonbeliever followed on from Kisschasy’s breakthrough 2005 debut, United Paper People. The second albu performed even better than their first, peaking at #5 on the Aussie charts (their highest position to date) and being certified Gold.
The record also spawned a handful of classic singles, including their top ten-placing Opinions Won't Keep You Warm At Night and Spray On Pants – both of which charted in the 2007 Hottest 100, too.
Now, following a reunion tour in 2023 to celebrate the vinyl reissue of their debut, Kisschasy are doing it all again, with the Hymns For The New Believers tour hitting the road in June to accompany the first-ever vinyl pressing of Hymns For The Nonbeliever.
“Our last tour proved that the special connection we have with our fans is alive and stronger than ever,” the group said in a statement. “We’ve been counting down the minutes until we can get back onto the stage and there’s no better reason than having our second album Hymns For The Nonbeliever released on vinyl for the very first time.
