His sons are his "voice".
John Farnham's sons, Robert and James, will be interviewed on A Current Affair tonight by Seb Costello.
The exclusive interview promises to reveal the latest on the Aussie music legend's health condition and how the family discovered the cancer diagnosis. Robert and James pay tribute to the inspirational doctors and nurses who have cared for their dad and praise their mother, Jill's strength.
Robert, a musician, and James, an actor, will also answer an entire nation's question: will their father sing again? In lighter news, viewers will also get more insight into how John Farnham felt about Robbie Williams' You're The Voice performance at the 2022 AFL Grand Final.
In August, John Farnham was admitted to a Victorian hospital for mouth cancer treatment. Sharing a statement to his fans at the time, he wrote, "Cancer diagnosis is something that so many people face every single day, and countless others have walked this path before me. The one thing I know for sure is that we have the best specialist healthcare professionals in Victoria, and we can all be grateful for that. I know I am."
A week later, entertainment broadcasters Richard Wilkins, Peter Ford, Angela Bishop, and the ABC Breakfast Team came together to launch the website, We Love You, John, so that fans could send the music icon their well-wishes.
"As John is not active on social media, and with the consent of the Farnham family, this website has been established as a way for fans to write and send messages of love and support to John," a statement read. "These messages will be saved and shared with John and the family so that they may read them when the time is right."

John Farnham left the hospital and was transferred to a rehabilitation centre last month. Gaynor Wheatley (TalentWorks) and David Wilson (Watercooler Talent) shared an update with fans on behalf of the Farnham Family and wrote:
"This week John has been transferred into a rehabilitation facility. Each of these steps means things are moving in the right direction and for that we are enormously thankful.
Our family is so very grateful to all the remarkable teams of Victorian medical professionals who have taken such good care of John. These outcomes are a credit to their dedication, skills and compassion."
